RMI legislation requires earthmoving permit and Cultural and Historical Protection Office approval for earthmoving works and activities in lagoons.
Major scale works will require ESIA - see Project ESMF/ESMP.

Background report to provide all detail to support application - scale of report to reflect scael of proposed works.
External review and signoff to ensure all relevant information provided.
Include PIU in meeting as appropriate - ensure all matters are addressed including costs - make minutes/notes of meeting
Confirm (email) that PIU understands costs including residual costs after initial fee payment.
Email verification that full and final design information has been preovided from PIU
Application will not be processed until fee paid
Complete application form and lodge - advise PIU
Contact CHPO (Cultural and Historical Protection Office) to obtain signoff letter. Provide summary report.
Keep email records of meetings
Ensure PIU/CIU FM coordnation - allow adequate time
